Rose Water

1 cup distilled water
2 1/2 tablespoons vodka
1/2-cup fresh rose petals
10 drops rose fragrance oil
Fill a sterilized glass jar with rose petals. Pour the water and vodka over the petals, stirring gently. Add the rose fragrance oil and seal with an airtight lid. Store in a cool place for a week and stir daily. Strain and discard petals. Bottle immediately in an airtight bottle.
Shelf life – 1 year if kept in a dark bottle

Lavender Water

1 cup distilled water
2 1/2 tablespoons vodka
10 drops lavender essential oils
1/2 cup lavender flowers (dried or fresh)
Fill a sterilized glass jar with lavender flowers. Pour the water and vodka over the flowers, stirring gently
Add the lavender essential oil and seal with an airtight lid. Store in a cool place for a week and stir daily. Strain and discard flowers. Bottle immediately in an airtight bottle.
Shelf life – 1 year if kept in a dark bottle

Sweet Orange Splash

2 cups distilled water
3 tablespoons vodka
15 drops sweet orange essential oil
10 drops bergamot essential oil
Zest from half a lemon
Fill a sterilized jar with the zest. Pour water and vodka over the zest and stir. Add essential oils, seal with an airtight lid and set in a cool, dark place for a week, stirring daily. Strain and discard zest. Bottle immediately in an airtight bottle.
Shelf life – 1 year if kept in a dark bottle

Clary Sage and Thyme Cologne

1/2-cup vodka
10 drops clary sage essential oil
5 drops thyme essential oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 1 year

Oakmoss Perfume blend

1-tablespoon vodka
10 drops oakmoss essential oil
4 drops bergamot essential oil
4 drops rosemary essential oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 8 months

Spice Splash

1 cup distilled water
2 tablespoons vodka
5 drops nutmeg essential oil
5 drops vanilla fragrance oil
4 whole cloves
Poor water and vodka over the whole cloves in a sterilized jar with an airtight lid. Store in a dark place for one week. Strain and discard cloves. Add nutmeg and vanilla essential oils. Store in a dark, airtight bottle
Shelf life – 8 months

Vanilla Bean Water

1 cup distilled water
2 tablespoons vodka
2 whole vanilla beans
5 drops sandalwood essential oil
In an airtight, sterilized glass jar, blend water, vodka, and vanilla bean. Stir and allow to steep for 1 week. Remove vanilla beans and add sandalwood essential oil. Store in a dark, airtight bottle
Shelf life – 8 months

Pear Nectar Perfume

1-tablespoon vodka
8 drops pear fragrance oil
4 drops neroli essential oil
4 drops frankincense essential oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 1 year

Provence Perfume Oil

1 tsp sweet almond oil
15 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops sandalwood essential oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 6 months

Traditional Perfume

1 part essential oil
4-6 parts alcohol
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 1-3 years

Natural Perfume

1 part essential oil
4-6 parts sweet almond oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 1-2 years

Traditional Cologne

1 part essential oil
10-20 parts alcohol
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.
Shelf life – 1-3 years

Natural Cologne

1 part essential oil
10-20 parts sweet almond oil
Blend and store in a small amber glass bottle with a stopper.

Solid Perfume

1-ounce beeswax
8 ounces petroleum jelly
1-tablespoon essential oil
Melt the beeswax and petroleum jelly in a double boiler over low heat. Remove from heat and add essential oil. Stir slowly for about 1 minute, then pour the mixture into decorative containers and let air-dry until firm
Shelf life – 2 years

Pure Beeswax solid perfume

4 ounces beeswax
1/2-cup sweet almond oil
1-tablespoon essential oil
Melt the beeswax and oil in a double boiler over low heat. Remove from heat and add essential oil. Stir slowly for about 1 minute, then pour the mixture into decorative containers and let air-dry until firm
Shelf life – 12-18 months

Perfume Balm

1/4-cup beeswax
4-tablespoon jojoba oil
1-tablespoon essential or fragrance oil of choice
1/4-cup apricot kernel oil
Melt the beeswax in a double boiler on medium heat. As soon as it is melted, remove from heat and quickly mix the other ingredients together, then add them to the beeswax. Stir about 1 minute. Poor into small glass jars and let setup overnight.
Shelf life – 6-12 months
